been talking to folks about the neopets data leak (if, for some reason, you have an account still sharing a password with neopets in 2022, you should change your non-neopets passwords. not intended as a dig for playing neopets -- I do! -- but for password sharing) basically since it was revealed...
but it really *just* hit me how cool it would be to have neopets source code leaked fully publicly.
that would be like a holy grail of archival for me. something that I figured would just be gone when jumpstart pulled the plug. and yeah there's fanmade retro recreations but... a record of the original would just be so cool to have
